Self-exclusion Policy

Scope and purpose

This Self-Exclusion Policy (the Policy) governs the procedures by which a user may limit or block access to Qqwin gambling services to support responsible gaming. It applies to all Qqwin products and all registered players who interact with the platform.

Definitions

  • Time-out: a short-term interruption from gambling that temporarily restricts access to all Qqwin products and services.
  • Self-exclusion: a longer-term restriction in which the user’s Qqwin account is closed for a defined period between six months and five years.
  • Account status: the current operational state of a user’s Qqwin account (active, time-out, or excluded).
  • Financial protection tools: user-imposed controls on deposits, losses, and wagering available in the account settings.

Time-out

A Time-out provides a short break from gambling. Once a Time-out is initiated, the user may not place bets, deposit funds, withdraw funds, or access any Qqwin product for the duration of the Time-out. Time-out periods are selectable in the user’s Account Profile under Time-Out settings. A Time-out may be revoked only after a minimum of 24 hours has elapsed from the initial request. Upon expiration of the Time-out, the user’s account is automatically re-activated and normal access is restored.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is intended for longer-term withdrawal from activity. The user may request self-exclusion for a period of between six months and five years. If the user does not specify a period, the default shall be six months. The request must be submitted to Qqwin Customer Support via email and must clearly identify the desired exclusion period. Upon receipt of a self-exclusion request, the account enters a 24-hour cooling-off period during which no gambling activity is permitted and the account remains closed.

After the cooling-off period, the user will be advised of the available self-exclusion periods. The user must confirm the chosen exclusion period by replying to the notification email. The periods offered are fixed and non-negotiable. If no response is received within 24 hours of the notification, the account will be reopened and confirmed by email. During the Self-exclusion period, the account is disabled and deposits or withdrawals are prohibited across all Qqwin products. Marketing communications are blocked for the exclusion duration. Upon expiration of the Self-exclusion period, the account will automatically re-activate unless the user initiates a new exclusion in accordance with these procedures.

Revocation, continuation and reactivation

Requests to revoke Time-out or Self-exclusion after the specified period may be made by written or electronic notice. The Company will review such requests and respond in writing. For Self-exclusion, any subsequent exclusion must follow the same process described above; prior exclusions do not automatically renew, extend, or override new exclusion requests. Upon the end of a Self-exclusion period, the account normally returns to active status unless and until a new exclusion is requested.

Financial protections

Players may configure deposit, loss, and wagering limits within the account settings. If a user exceeds a self-imposed limit, further actions related to that limit will be restricted. Any revocation of limits requires written or electronic notice and remains at the Company’s absolute discretion. Qqwin takes reasonable steps to ensure compliance with Self-exclusion and to prevent promotional material from reaching excluded players. The Company is not liable for activity conducted via alternative accounts or for promotional material accidentally delivered to an excluded user.

Privacy and data handling

All requests under this Policy are processed in accordance with Qqwin’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Personal data collected for Time-out or Self-exclusion is used solely for administering the exclusion and related safety measures and is retained as required by law and internal policy.

Assistance and disputes

Qqwin provides support for players seeking assistance with responsible gaming. This Policy is governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under this Policy will be addressed in accordance with Qqwin’s internal dispute-resolution framework.
